“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away” (Vicki Corona). Elizabeth Finley knows all too well the importance of living life to the fullest. A health scare when she was younger and the recent passing of her dad led her to redefine the lifestyle she wanted. 

Elizabeth grew up in a military family and moved often. Her dad was a fighter pilot in the Air Force and her mom was a school teacher. As a child, she lived on bases in Texas, Alaska, and even Spain. These experiences taught her about cultural diversity and the challenges of relocating. Elizabeth was always a very outgoing young girl, who enthusiastically knocked on her neighbor’s doors looking for playmates within 24 hours of moving to a new area. This experience allowed her to hone her social skills, which has helped her throughout her professional life. Right before junior high school, their family moved to the Bay Area in California, where her dad made a career change. He was her role model and taught her to lean on others with confidence and to treat everyone with gentleness. 

After high school, Elizabeth graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Economics. At the time, her boyfriend and his family were working in real estate. The lifestyle they lived was a good example of what she wanted, so she got her real estate license and sold three houses right out the gate. Despite her success, she decided that a career in real estate wasn’t stable enough and went to work for various enterprises. Her experiences there taught her how to work well with high-level professionals. It was when Elizabeth had her children, though, that the desire to have a more flexible work schedule would call her back to the real estate world. As she saw her clientele grow each year, it finally clicked for her that she was destined to be in the profession. In 2008, she began working full-time in real estate and partnered up with John. They’ve been a team since then, helping their clients achieve their own idea of a luxury lifestyle in sought-after North Coastal San Diego. They quickly became known as the “Luxury Living Authorities.” 

Today, Elizabeth and John assist their clients in achieving their own idea of luxury. Their intimate knowledge of San Diego’s history, luxury communities, and renowned outdoor lifestyle helps them better assist sophisticated homeowners and investors in the buying and selling of multiple homes. Having raised children in the area, Elizabeth knows the school districts well and also helps families who are seeking areas and schools to fit their values and lifestyle. Together, she and John have extensive experience in zoning, building, development, entitlements, and project management.  They also are part of a network of luxury agents across the country who can locate unique and off-market properties. 

When Elizabeth isn’t helping clients, you can find her hanging out with her friends and family. She loves to travel to Hawaii, Europe, Tahoe, and enjoy her favorite activities, snow skiing and snorkeling. She and John are building an organization of real estate agents across the globe who are just as passionate about achieving a life of luxury and abundance. Today, she’ll tell you that the moments that take her breath away are beyond measure, and defined exactly as she desires.
